Coral Colour

I was bored on this lovely thursday night and decided to entertain myself on polyvore by making a collage with only Coral colours. It's my favorite colour I think...or at least on clothes. 

My friend pointed out to me the other week when we were in a Topshop here in Stockholm that as soon as I see something in Coral I would just be drawn to it and pick it up and look at it... I hadn't even realised it was kind of embarrassing! Anyways I do love that colour on anything when it comes to clothes so..take a look!

Why did you choose this outfit?
Well this is what I found in my wardrobe, didn't really have anything special to wear today - Jeans were good as its a bit cold outside.

Where do you get Inspiration from?
Well from "Stockholm Street STyle" the blog, reading magazines, but mostly just people from school seeing what everyone's wearing

What do you think you're going to be wearing this spring/summer?
Lots of colours, like pastels...And shorts, hopefully.

What is your favorite piece of clothing right now?
Well right now, I like my jacket a lot because its warm, it gets me warm and I'm not really used to warm jackets, yeah thats my favorite right now.

What did I think?
I think she looks really good, her black jacket reminds me of the massive trend last spring of "aviator jackets", although I wouldn't say that it isn't still a trend this year, the fact that its so warm is perfect for Stockholm and I like the fact that her grey top stretches out beyond her jacket giving a bit of colour at the end. 

February in Stockholm

This is something I could picture a Swedish girl about 19, or 20 years old. I think the fur jacket is especially something that ties to Stockholm. From vintage black coats, to full-length jackets, to a more modern fashion forward coat like this one, I love it! Leather Leggings is something I've never tried and I probably won't for me, but I think it can look really good on some people! Especially on a night out with a simple white top like I've done. The Red Balenciaga bag is gorgeous, when I saw it on Polyvore, I immediately wanted it (that website should have a link to a webshop with each of its items!). Anyways the bright red bag really makes the outfit pop, and makes it less bland. While Stockholm in February doesn't promote flats...a thick biker boot may make the leather leggings a bit much, but I'll leave that to your imagination!

Friday

I haven't updated my blog today, and I'm sorry for not being very reliable today but I haven't forgotten about you! The cold of this damn country has given me a fever! So I didn't want to spend an hour or two after school today finding some of those stylish Stockholmers. But my past Polyvore creations have proved to be popular, maybe some more of those today? I love making them! I do have a few ideas.

PS. Didn't see too many young stylish girls or boys on my rush home from school, maybe everyone is in London? Because today is the start of London Fashion Week. Wish I was there!

This first collage I made was a bit more on the romantic side, it was Valentines this week, and looking at the roses I got from my boyfriend I couldn't help it! While an outfit like this would not be possible in Stockholm's February, but someplace like London maybe? Or is it as cold there now as well? When I lived there it was always so warm by February! who knows... The flirty and feminine dress, mixed with the more edgy leather jacket made the perfect combination. I love ballet flats, these from H&M and I cannot wait to wear the one's I bought from Primark in London in January. Can the spring please hurry?

To continue the trend of my ongoing want (and need) for spring and summer, I wanted to find styles of Bathing Suits that I think are going to be popular this summer. I've never been a one-piece person myself, the nicest thing is a tan stomach! But at the same time....it does make you look so sophisticated and elegant! (Something I'm definitely not..) but anyways, I love the white bandeau bikini from Victoria's secret, it's so simple yet so nice..wonder if it will still be on sale this summer! I think People should focus on wearing strong colours that really stand out. Instead of just black and white, why not try Lime green (going to be huge this summer!) and pastelle colours, as well as an extreme feminine bikini or bathing suit are going to be popular!

Yeah I read the big ones in Sweden, Elin Kling and Stockholm Street Style, those are good

What's your favorite piece of clothing right now?

Probably my Doc Martens, I love them they are so warm and they go with everything!

What do you think you're going to be wearing this spring?

Probably shorts, I love high waisted shorts and heels, I love heels. But now its too cold and slippery so I can't wear them.

What did i think?
I think this girl looked effortlessly stylish. I fell for her black fur coat that I think I may have seen around town before, its not too over-sized and over-powering like most fur jackets tend to be it was more understated which I liked! Her grey sweater could look a bit over-sized but with the tight black leggings and smaller jacket it balanced out well!
